COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF METHODICAL APPROACHES TO DEFINING COMPETITIVENESS OF THE ENTERPRISE
Abstract
The article is devoted to research and comparison of approaches to the definition of competitiveness of the enterprise. The interpretation of this concept by various scholars dealing with these issues is presented. The thoughts of scientists about this problem are considered. It is proved that, despite the fact that there are a large number of developments in this field, some issues remain unresolved and need to be addressed. An overview of some of the techniques used to assess the competitiveness of the enterprise is presented, their advantages and disadvantages are determined. The necessity of grouping the developed methodological approaches on the basis of the achievement of the corresponding goal is proved. The systematization of goals and methods of analysis that can be used to obtain relevant results is made. Examples of the choice of methods for researching the competitiveness of an enterprise depending on the intended purpose are given. The composition of the recommended indicators for the estimation of the competitiveness of the organization is substantiated and their critical analysis is done. It is proved that depending on the purpose of the study, their structure may vary. Therefore, each researcher needs to form their own system of indicators. To it is necessary to add or exclude those which, in his opinion, will help to solve the task. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze and determine their final composition. Proposals on the possibility of using these indicators in the appropriate methodology for the purpose of obtaining reliable results have been developed. It is concluded that the results obtained with the application of different methods may differ. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the data and select those results that are optimal for the enterprise.
