PROBLEMS AND WAYS OF IMPROVEMENT OF LOGISTIC INFRASTRUCTURE IN UKRAINE
Abstract
The article deals with the issues of development of logistic infrastructure in Ukraine. The purpose of the article is to identify the main problems and justify the basic principles of the formation of effective logistics infrastructure in Ukraine. The actuality of the mechanism of integration of the logistic processes of individual enterprises into the overall system of national logistics, the creation and operation of Ukrainian logistics infrastructure as a whole is poorly investigated. And these issues require further study and scientific justifying of logistic infrastructure. In this article the main approaches to the definition of "logistics infrastructure" are considered and author's definition is given. Also, main functions and structure of logistics infrastructure are researched. The place of Ukraine in the global ranking of logistics efficiency index is determined. The main problems that hinder the development of domestic logistics infrastructure are researched. The development of logistics infrastructure is one of the conditions of international cooperation and trade intensification, as well as investment attractiveness of both individual regions and the national economy as a whole. Provided analysis in the article allowed us to highlight the main problems of the development of domestic logistics infrastructure, which hinder its further effective development. Ukraine has a rather favorable geographic location, which gives it the opportunity to become a leading international logistics center. The research is based on institutional structure of logistics infrastructure in Ukraine. Results of the provided research highlight the need for more in-depth logistics research in order to find new mechanisms for building an effective logistics infrastructure in Ukraine. Practical value of the results are formation of main directions of improvement of logistics infrastructure in Ukraine, which should include improving the quality of overpass roads, coordinating the development of logistic infrastructure at the national, regional and local levels, as well as creating and developing transport and logistics centers.
