CRITERIA OF SUPPORT OF ENVIRONMENTAL CLEANLINESS OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCT

Abstract

The issues of ensuring the conditions for the production of environmentally friendly products in Ukraine are considered. The complexity of the ecological situation in Ukraine as a whole, and in particular in the agricultural sector, is shown. The necessity of multidirectional approaches to minimize the agrarian ecological risks is highlighted. The expediency of directing the state agrarian policy of Ukraine into the line of environmental priorities and high social standards is considered. To do this, from the positions of the governing institutions of the agrarian sector of Ukraine, it is necessary to coordinate work, to form effective management mechanisms, ensuring implementation of the state agricultural policy, strategies of sustainable agrarian development. The principles and parameters of environmental friendliness of agrarian products and their practical reflection are substantiated. From the commercial point of view, it is a question of the need and ability to meet the requirements of modern consumers with simultaneous competitive advantages for domestic agrarian commodity producers, in particular, based on the formation of the needs of the domestic market in environmentally friendly products and the prospects of its exit to the relevant European markets. Strategies for responding to market agrarian changes and foreseeing of “agroindicative reactions” at different levels are offered. The principles and possibilities of transferring the system of agrarian economy into the channel of environmental priorities are considered. The prospects of ecological reproduction of territories, complex development of rural areas, diversification of agricultural activity in Ukraine are determined. The emphasis is done on the possibilities of introducing a system of criteria for environmental cleanliness of the domestic agricultural product. The necessity of developing real environmental initiatives in Ukraine based on modern ecological management system is argued.
