Abstract

Competitiveness is one of the integral components of evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness in any sector of the economy. From the very beginning of COVІD period we have been facing many changes not only in the activities of companies, but also in the formation of new directions for cooperation based on agility. With the rapid and volatile economic development each company has the need to react to the distribution and delivering of goods. Each day we are becoming more dependent on logistics with their deliveries of goods and services. Logistic companies use this information (big data) for understanding the current state and developing the competitiveness strategy. The study of these problems was ambiguous. As supply chains expand their global reach, transportation and logistics companies are constantly looking for new ways to increase flexibility, sustainability and transparency. New technology is critical to addressing these challenges and can lead to operational and financial benefits for supply chain leaders. It was determined that in order to increase efficiency and effectiveness, managers of logistics companies and IT specialists should create a tandem and try to work out opportunities for using digitalization in logistics operations. As businesses continue to face external challenges, including supply chain disruptions and geopolitical conflicts, there is a need to shape and develop operational and strategic plans taking into account flexibility and adaptability. Advanced solutions, such as automation and cloud-based inventory management, are considered to be the best way of increasing companies’ competitiveness. The results of the financial analysis show that each year logistics companies are becoming more profitable and looking forward to optimizing their costs. Considering the results of the research, logistics companies can expand their activities through cooperation in new areas. At present, companies developing artificial intelligence are in active demand. Cooperation with such companies, for example in order to optimize routes, warehouse management efficiency, can increase the efficiency of the company, and reduce the number of failures, improving interaction with customers. It was found that the use of digital logistics is an agile and balanced process as well as a strategic investment requiring time, efforts and careful planning. Recommendations for the cooperation of logistics and IT companies allow us to draw a conclusion on increasing efficiency, saving money and gaining competitive advantages for both sectors.
