Abstract

Today the topic of non-ferrous metallurgy of Ukraine is very relevant. At the present stage of the development of scientific and technological progress it is impossible to do without colored metals, which are necessary in mechanical engineering and are especially widely used in such fields as electronic, electrical, radio-television, instrument making and others. At the same time, Ukraine remained a major importer of non-ferrous metals. In Ukraine, deposits of raw materials – aluminum, magnesium, titanium ores, zirconium, nickel, mercury and others – are discovered and developed. Particular attention is needed to the development of the titanium industry in Ukraine, which has significant prospects and is able to bring the country's economy to a new level. The article contains research on the activities of the country's titanium industry, taking into account its Euro integration vector of development. The main industrial centers for extraction of raw materials for titanium production and organizational factors of raw material processing technology are considered. A statistical analysis of raw material extraction for titanium production in Ukraine was conducted. The resource resources of the world for the extraction of ilmenite and rutile as components of titanium production are researched. The basic production redistributions of titanium production are formed. The international trade of titanium and prospects for its further realization under the current world requirements are analyzed. The problematic aspects of the work of the titanium industry at the national and international levels are considered. The system of conflicts of interest in the titanium industry is investigated and the ways of their solution at the macro and micro levels are proposed. The basic directions of the development of the titanium industry of Ukraine have been formed taking into account the implementation of the European integration of the country.
