Abstract
The modern strategic imperatives of management of sustainable development of the region are determined. The goals of sustainable development of the region are differentiated for the purpose of complex and systematic solution of socio-ecological and economic problems of territories. Strategic imperatives for managing sustainable development in the future will be linked to the emergence of a green economy.
