COOPERATIVE BANKS IN THE FINANCIAL PROVIDER OF THE INNOVATIONAL PROCESS IN THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR

Abstract

The article deals with the study of the organization of a cooperative system in the agrarian sector of foreign countries for the needs of the industry's innovation process. The role of specialized cooperative financial institutions, in particular, cooperative banks, has been characterized. In practice, Latvia, France and Poland emphasize the key role of cooperative banks in developing the agrarian sector of their economies. Based on the study of foreign experience of countries with different levels of economic development, the conditions for the formation and operation of cooperative banking institutions in the domestic practice are determined. The expediency of entering co-operative banks into the subjective composition of the financial support of the innovation process in the agro-industrial complex has been proved.
