Abstract

The article is devoted to the definition of the role of the leisure and entertainment industry as part of tourism services. A comparative analysis of the terminological differences between the concepts of «entertainment», «attraction», «leisure industry» was made. The peculiarities of the development of the leisure and entertainment industry as a component of tourism in the present conditions of global transformations are studied.
