MODERN CONDITION AND PROBLEMS OF BEEF PRODUCTION IN FARMS OF ZAPOROZHYA

Abstract

The necessary production of beef for satisfying the physiological needs of the population of Zaporozhye is justified; for this purpose, 35.8 thousand tons of beef are needed for all categories of farms in the region. Thus, the deficit of production of this commodity will be 24.7 thousand tons, which is replenished mainly by other types of meat and imported beef. Key problems of the development of beef cattle breeding in the farms of the Zaporozhye region at the present stage are determined.
