ECONOMIC SECURITY OF THE HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION: THEORETICAL-METHODICAL APPROACHES

Abstract

This article analyzes the theoretical approaches to the interpretation of the essence of “economic security” of distinguishing certain groups on the same grounds. The author’s vision of the concept “economic security of a higher educational institution” is presented. The external and internal threats for the functioning and development of universities in competitive conditions in the market of educational services are revealed. The model of economic safety of higher educational institutions as a system is proposed. A methodical approach to the formation of the system of economic security of higher educational institutions has been developed. The estimation of economic safety of higher educational institutions on the basis of calculation of integral index is offered.
