ECOSYSTEM APPROACH TO THE DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF AGRICULTURAL LOGISTICS SYSTEMS

The article explores the current state, global trends, and transformational prospects of agricultural logistics development under conditions of heightened geopolitical instability and the consequences of full-scale war in Ukraine. It highlights the systemic significance of agricultural logistics as a structural core connecting distinct operational processes—such as freight forwarding, information and communication support, customs clearing, consulting, and risk management—into a cohesive global agribusiness ecosystem. The study provides an in-depth analysis of the negative economic impacts inflicted upon the national agrarian sector and supply chain infrastructure due to military actions. Key disruptions examined include the reduction of sown areas, loss of production capacity through temporary occupation and infrastructure destruction, labor shortages caused by mobilization and migration, alongside mandatory rerouting of trade corridors from maritime to land transport modes. The article demonstrates that despite partial post-shock recovery, full restoration remains constrained by structural export declines, rising agricultural import dependencies, and protectionist trade restrictions imposed by foreign economic blocs. Special emphasis is placed on digital transformation as a strategic driver for post-war recovery and competitiveness. The author evaluates key digital solutions transforming agro-logistical networks, including enterprise content management systems for automated workflow integration, electronic customs declaration, radio-frequency identification technology for real-time cargo tracking, and vendor-managed inventory platforms for inventory optimization. The paper advocates for the implementation of an ecosystem approach based on establishing digital transport and logistics hubs. By transitioning toward 3PL and 4PL models, these digital platforms unite suppliers, agricultural producers, carriers, warehousing facilities, and distributors into a single synchronized space. The study confirms that integrating modern e-commerce tools and smart supply chain ecosystems enables resource efficiency, reduces transaction costs, and ensures sustainable growth for Ukrainian agribusiness within global trade networks.
