Abstract

The article is devoted to the research of issues related to the development of artificial intelligence. The preconditions for the emergence and features of artificial intelligence as an international product are generalized. It is concluded that as a product of scientific thought of representatives of different countries, it did not appear suddenly. Its appearance is the result of evolutionary development over a long time and the international collaboration of many scholars. Artificial intelligence today – a branch of science, the development of which is closely linked, as a rule, with the solution of specific practical issues, aimed at optimizing any phenomena and processes. The study of the use of artificial intelligence allowed us to conclude that it is artificial intelligence – the broadest branch of knowledge – both in terms of theories, methods, technologies and practices, and the volume of specialists who are involved in its study and development. Artificial intelligence became the focus of science, which uses the capabilities of the computer to solve a huge range of problems and issues and transfer of human functions in all spheres of life. The analysis of application and prospects of development of artificial intelligence, including – basic predictions and benefits of its capabilities in the near future. Any development always has advantages and risks. It is determined that the task today – not to retreat, but to optimize the potential risks from it. This process, of course, must be well-regulated and have qualitative goals. It is stressed that the leading specialists in this field should focus on ensuring that the results of artificial intelligence functioning are economically and socially significant, not destructive.
