ASSESSMENT OF PUBLIC SUPPORT OF THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR AS A FINANCIAL CONTROL OBJECTIVE

Abstract

The article assesses the state support to the agrarian sector as an object of financial control. It is proved that valid state support methods of the agrarian sector require rethinking and improvement, since the provision of subsidies and compensation does not meet the requirements of the present and does not affect the development of agriculture, improving the efficiency of farming, creating conditions for the innovative quality of reproduction in the agro-industrial complex. It was found that the growth rates of general support for the agrarian sector do not correspond to the growth of agricultural production, which indicates that the use of one of the state regulatory instruments – the state financial control – is not sufficiently used.
