CONCEPTUAL BASES FOR FORMING THE STRATEGY OF EVALUATION OF STRUCTURAL CHANGES IN THE REGIONAL ECONOMY

The article discusses the theoretical foundations of the formation of the strategy for assessing structural changes in the regional economy. The purpose of the article is to study the theoretical foundations for the formation of a strategy for assessing structural changes in the regional economy. Allocation of stages of improvement of economic system of the region is proved. The concrete directions and actions for improvement of structure of economy of the region taking into account tendencies of development macro – and mega-economy in the conditions of globalization are offered and in detail considered. The most significant concepts are analyzed, namely the concept of integrated regional development, the concept of stability, as well as the concept of self-sufficiency. Investigated the current practices of the system of indicators reflecting socio-economic development for different purposes.
